It is not selfish to take care of yourself.
One of my goals for 2019 was to take more time for myself. As a mom to 3 kids under 5 I felt like I needed some “self care” or “self love” in order to be the best Wife & Mom I could be.
Self Love, Self Care can mean anything really. Like a girls weekend away, an hour at Starbucks alone or simply taking a bath. There’s such a broad range of what this means and I believe it’s determined by you.
I recently sat down and wrote out a list of Self Care things that I thought could be a starting point for you.
Self-care and self-love is so important for our mental health! I love taking baths when I’m feeling stressed.

It nice to see perceptions changing around self-care and I have certainly upped my self-care regime this year.

I always say the SAME EXACT THING! Self-Care is NOT selfish. It’s actually the opposite. How can you give your full self to the ones you love most if you’re running on empty. I seriously love the illustration of not being able to pour from an empty cup. Thanks for sharing!
